IKO Insulations inaugurates Alconbury site

IKO Insulations is proud to announce that its third European manufacturing facility has been inaugurated in Alconbury, UK.

The Alconbury site will be IKO’s third insulation plant in Europe and fifth worldwide.

Completed in just 12 months, the 60,000m2 site was an operational air base between 1938 and 1995, used by both the British and American Air Force.

Alconbury will have capacity to insulate up to 40,000 homes per year, helping to cut fuel bills and contribute towards achieving the Climate Change Act’s target of an 80% reduction in carbon emissions by 2050.
